I am Extremely happy with the Service, and Quality of my Purchase.
I preordered a Garrett ATX Deepseeker package from Ackert Supplies before they were available. Paul kept me up to date on when the soonest time i would be able to recieve the detector would be. It took a couple of months due to a backlog at Garrett but i did finally get the detector, and it took no time at all to ship from Ackert Supplies once it was built at Garrett. Paul has been super speedy at returning emails, with my questions. I will definately buy another detector in the future from him. I am still pretty new to this detector, bought it primarily for hunting meteorites. The garrett ATX with the DD coil is super sensitive, right out of the box I had the basics of the detector operation figured out in about 15min, and was finding brass .22 rifle casings like crazy. Also though it was also not treasure, i found a really small hairlike piece of wire at 10”, and a small cigarette aluminum foil liner piece at 7”, both rung clear as a bell pretty impressive no wonder it is hot on gold nuggets. If its metal, and under your feet, you will find it with this machine. I am already impressed greatly after 4hrs of run time, and will write another review after i am fully acquainted and use the deep seeker coil. The ATX is a highly sensitive dig everything, all metal machine. The discrimination feature on it works but i can’t use it for meteorite hunting. For coin shooting in trashy areas the AT Pro is probably a better machine. But the ATX really holds ground balance and goes deep. Air testing with an LL6 chondrite i was able to pick it up clearly at 4”, with it placed on the ground, without headphones. Pretty awesome feat, LL6 has almost no nickel iron in it!!! Thats awesome ground balance!!! I also ordered a Garrett Pin-pointer, i had never used one of these detecting before. What an idiot i was. If you don’t have one buy 2, it makes finding your item way easier and no more phantoms. It also gave the ATX no interference. I am Extremely happy with the Service, and Quality of my Purchase.
